Return Policy

At Gilden, we stand behind the quality and authenticity of every product we sell. Due to the nature of the precious metals market including price volatility, fraud risk, and fulfillment costs, returns and refunds are subject to the terms below.

Returns

To initiate a return, you must email [email protected] within four (4) calendar days of confirmed delivery. Requests submitted after this window will not be eligible for a refund. Once your return is approved, Gilden will provide a prepaid, fully insured return shipping label. The cost of this label will be deducted from your refund.

You must ship the item within two (2) business days of receiving the return label. Items not shipped within this timeframe may be denied. All returned items must be in their original condition and packaging.

Fees

A $100 restocking fee applies to all returns. This fee reflects market risk, handling, and processing costs, and will be deducted from your refund.

Credit card processing fees of 3% are non-refundable. These fees are charged directly by our payment processors at the time of purchase and are not recoverable by Gilden. If you paid by credit card, your refund will be issued net of the original 3% processing fee in addition to any other applicable deductions.

Processing & Refunds

Once your return is received, we will inspect the item, including verification of authenticity and purity. Please allow up to five (5) business days from receipt for inspection and processing. Once approved, your refund—net of any applicable deductions including insured return shipping costs, the $100 restocking fee, and any non-refundable credit card processing fee (3%)—will be issued to your original payment method. You will receive an email confirmation once your return has been processed.

Non-Returnable Items

Products with tampered or opened assay packaging (e.g., sealed gold bars removed from original packaging) are not eligible for a refund.
